The Importance of Trimming Your Ends

What people don't realise is that the longer you leave split ends unattended, the higher they creep up. The longer you leave the negativity, the more it festers in your life. This means that when you finally get your next trim, it's going to be more of a cut... a big one. Don't be blaming the stylist for that!

Do you find yourself saying this often:

🙆🏻‍♀️ "My hair is just not growing"

🙆🏻‍♀️ "I don't trim often because I want the length"

🙆🏻‍♀️ "I don't sleep with satin protection often... Only when I remember" 👀

🙆🏻‍♀️ "I'm so frustrated, I have so many knots"

But... Did you know trimming is necessary? How else do you get rid of negativity? You cut it out!!! The same applies to your hair 😉

What people don't realise is that the longer you leave those split ends unattended, the higher they creep up. The longer you leave the negativity, the more it festers in your life. This means that when you finally get your next trim... It's going to be more of a cut... a big one. Don't be blaming the stylist for that. 🙈

You won't be able to see the growth from the scalp because your raggedy ends are fighting for your failure. Down with split ends!!!!!!

Two things:

🙌 Invest in good hair shears! ✂️ (We've got you... Pick one up right here)

🙌 Set a calendar reminder on your phone if you have to!

Listen to your hair, and here's how you will hear when it needs a trim:

 You'll have fairy knots

➰ Detangling will be a battle

➰ Your ends will look more "translucent"

➰ Your ends won't be as defined as the rest of the strand (the feathery effect)

➰ Your hair seems as if it is not growing

It's easy to become frustrated with your hair, but your hair needs YOU to make the relationship work. So if you feel that listening is hard work, just set a calendar reminder to ping you when it's time for a trim. The minimum time between trims is 2 months, with a maximum of 3 months.

Length comes when a healthy routine is the focus 👌🏽😍
